This story came to mind after reading Geron Kees' story, The Thief of Small Things. Within a minute of reading the completed story I was writing to him, thanking him for the diversion from the quarantine, and for reminding me of the time in my 20's that I did live and work in the Kimball, and did find the abandoned office suite on its rooftop.
