Rick Beck does not write fluffy bunny stories. At times, they are gritty and very realistic. Yet they are always about love. Many of his stories are about the struggles we gay folk have had in times past. Rick is a terrific writer and knows how to pull your emotional strings.
Keith is a homeless chef who learned his trade by OJT. He was hospitalized with a liver infection where he learned he had AIDS. Dury Lane is a retired attorney who meets Keith in a park near the hospital. Keith left the hospital, AMA. Gary is a retired owner of a Construction/Refurbishing Company and a long time friend of Dury's. The one thing these guys have in common is a dream. Perhaps not the same dream, but close enough to work with.
