Two teens—one an elven mage, the other the human son of a member of the Prince’s Privy Council—meet as healer and patient, but develop much closer ties. They set out on an adventure to see World, but find it to be a very different place from the sheltered existence they had led. Their lives are not made easier by the Darkness that seeks to eclipse the Light that has ruled Elvenhold and Arcadia for 5,000 years.
