The Resilience of the Human Spirit

gary.conder@castleroland.net

Gary Conder

Synopsis:

Being born to a convicted woman does not make the child a convict nor is he free, or allow privilege in society. The stain of the mother is transferred to the child and remains. Even on becoming a man and changing one’s name does not escape the torment. Put that with the love that dare not speak its name, our young lad is left to his own devises in a dangerous new world with only his resilience to keep him from harm.
