Synopsis:

Mark is an almost ten-year-old who desperately wanted a ‘big brother’. His parents explained to him that he was the big brother to any children that came after him. Mark understood, but he still wanted what some of his friends had, and that was a big brother. The parents apply for and are accepted as being Foster Parents and they tell Children’s Protective Services they want a twelve or thirteen-year-old for their almost ten-year-old son. As time goes on the parents are called and asked to foster a fifteen-year-old teenaged boy, but they aren’t too sure they want to deal with the problems that he could bring to the home. Read along and see what their decision is and how Mark and his new foster ‘big brother’ deal with issues that come along with his arrival.
