Fabian and Reiko used to be best of friends. In middle school, Fabian became increasingly academic, while Reiko became a Jock. In 8th grade, Fabian came out to the entire school, thus completely severing any friendship that may have still existed with Reiko. But it is what happens, several years later, near Christmas time, when a mountain snowstorm and two rescues, result in several young adults and kids spending a few days snowed in at a remote mountain cabin. Then the fun begins!
