Sam and I were nearing the end of our first year as guardians/parents to Jay and Ray and the boys had a birthday coming up. They would turn 7 at the end of their year of kindergarten and with Jason and Carla’s help we had organized a birthday party (with no gifts) as their last day in class with their friends. They were having a party at home on Saturday afternoon, and that was for friends and neighbors and that was when they’d receive presents.

Jason had recommended that both the kindergarten classes be involved and since it was the last day of classes that Friday we arranged for an afternoon of entertainment for the forty kids after they had had their lunches. Sam and I had hired a magician and a local riding club that had six ponies and the magician was the first attraction and after he had amazed the kids we took them all out to the parking lot where with the help of the two teachers and their aides, along with both Sam and me and Jason and Carla we formed the children into six lines and the members of the riding club led the kids around on the ponies on the big front lawn of the school. The janitorial staff was ready to collect any deposits the little over fed equines wanted to make to their gardening efforts. After the ponies had been ridden, back inside we all went and there were two story readers to entertain the children while we adults got the cake and ice cream ready. Everyone had a great time and it was wonderful to see how Ray and Jay made sure everyone was having fun, along with their best friends and neighbors Billy and Bobby, Carla and Jason’s two boys.

The children were escorted to their two classrooms for the last hour of their class as the rest of us adults tucked in and made sure the small gym we had been using was spotless after. We were still hanging around when the last bell rang for the school year so we snagged the boys as they left the building and we informed the bus monitor we would be driving our two home and Carla did the same for her two. Once home we took the boys out to the pool to play, as Carla had indicated her two had dental appointments, just as our two had done last week.

As we lay on our chaises as the boys played in the shallow end of the pool I reflected on the past year and how Sam and I had been named as guardians for Ray and Jay by their parents just before their deaths as the result of a homicidal maniac sending their car careening off an elevated highway, only to land nose first on the stretch of highway below and be crushed by a big rig. I couldn’t get my head around the fact I was still mourning their loss, but now I had the joy of raising their sons with my now fiance, Sam. We were to be married in just a week at the MCC church we attended, as did a lot of our neighbors, both gay and straight. I would become Detective Thomas Paige Chase, a new appointment made by a grateful police chief, but Sam wanted to change his last name to Chase, but keep Paige as his middle name as I would be doing. He would become Fire Captain Samuel Paige Chase for our professional names.

As I said, I was ruminating on how we got to this point in our lives when through the gate two of the sexiest men on the planet, and our neighbors from down the street, came to discuss our plans for tomorrow, and to take a dip in the pool also. Glenn (the realtor)and Eddie (the new inspector for the state troopers) were two very good looking men and Sam and I sometimes fantasized about their love life. Glenn loved men in uniform, and the first time he had met Eddie it was a textbook case. The tall brunette realtor and his slightly younger red headed trooper certainly made a striking pair, and their ward, Brian, was the perfect babysitter for the boys. He was just starting to realize he was gay like his uncle Glenn, and had come to Sam and me for advice a time or two. He asked us questions he hadn’t felt comfortable asking his uncle or Eddie about, and we were honored he had chosen us, rather than rely on street knowledge. Brian had just graduated high school and would be starting college, at the big University in town.. Glenn and Eddie were fast becoming our closest friends, but Carla and Jason were right up there too, in fact I had asked Carla and Jason to stand up for me at our wedding ceremony and Sam had asked Eddie and Glenn.

Eddie had wanted to confirm the time for the cookout tomorrow as he had offered to bring homemade coleslaw and we both confirmed we expected to be eating around 4PM. We four got into the pool with the boys and we took turns letting them jump off us into the deep end, where there was always one of us adults there to help out if needed. Of course they couldn’t jump that far, so there was an element of tossing them added to the equation, which of course only added to our upper body workouts. By the time Brian had come home from his summer job at the local summer day camp, Glenn and Eddie were worn out and declined our offer of burgers for supper, saying they had put chops in their slow cooker this afternoon and were planning a family dinner with Brian.

After our dinner with the boys we all settled in for an evening of TV, but the boys were bored with our choices of shows so we allowed them to pick a movie out and we watched CARS again for the umpteenth time, but it was a cute movie, and the boys had dropped off to sleep about half way through. Once we had them snugged in their bed upstairs we slipped into our workout gear and used the Bowflex® machine we had just gotten for this purpose, we had had it set up in one of the guest rooms across from the boys room, along with a padded weight bench we didn’t need in our basement gym. We had tried using a “baby monitor”, connected from their room to the basement gym, but with the noise down there it was difficult to hear the boys in their room, so we decided that for our evening workouts (usually “workout/foreplay”) we could use the machine and weights to achieve what we both wanted, and we were right across the hall from the hopefully sleeping boys. Our morning workouts we did downstairs, and weekends too, that way the boys would be in the play area of the basement as we really did work out.

Once they were in school it was another matter, and depending on our own schedules, which were pretty much in sync now, we could work out down there and often we had company join us there, strictly on the up and up of course. Eddie and Glenn often stopped by in the afternoon to use the equipment down there and Sam and I occasionally got to see them working out in only their jocks, which was a signal for us to strip down to ours and we’d take a bench seat and watch them play with each other, not that they hadn’t seen us do it too, I guess it saved both couples a lot of money on porn.

This night we only wore our jocks, with our work out shorts hanging on the back of the room’s door on hooks usually used for bathrobes. We started out with some warm up exercises and once we had warmed up we began our real workout, teasing and enticing each other until an hour later Sam lent down to make sure my nipples were getting worked over good, and we made our way to our bedroom and we made sure that other parts of our bodies were given the workout they deserved. Upon us both showering our love with our love juices in very tight places we showered and changed the bottom sheet and with me spooning into Sam’s backside we drifted off to sleep, totally secure in our love, and totally spent. The next day would be a full and I hoped, a happy one for the boys.

We had had a few rough patches with the boys about six months ago, after the holidays. We had spoken to Jason about it and he had suggested a child psychologist to have a few sessions with the boys. He said that frankly he was surprised they hadn’t acted out sooner, and he suggested it might be things the kids at school might have said to them about living with their “uncles” and not a “real” parent. Our own sessions with Dr. Barnaby were eye opening to say the least, we had never thought little kids could be so cruel, but he told us that it was usually things they heard at home, and not some instinctually cruel thing they came up with by themselves, he said that 99% of the time the taunter didn’t even know what they were implying at that age.

Sam and I had been talking about our upcoming marriage as we were waiting for the boys to be called in to see the good Doctor one afternoon in February as we had just gotten engaged, when we realized the doctor was standing there, and had heard us hashing out our plans as the boys were playing with some toys at the other end of the room. He sat in the chair across from us and asked if we had considered adoption, and we told him that caring for the two we had right now had us as stretched as far as we could handle, along with our full time jobs, but we were not counting it out for the future.

He chuckled and told us that’s not what he meant, but by adopting the twins we would be changing our titles with them, they would become our sons, and we would become their dads. We would be their legal parents, in front of God, the law and the community, as well as in the eyes of the other school children.

Believe me, Becca (our lawyer, Rebecca Bennett) got what I thought would be a long call as soon as we got home and sent the boys to watch something on TV for a bit. She interrupted our three way call and told us that about the time she saw us as a family group back in the Fall she had had paperwork in our file for the day we would ask her to petition the family court for adoption decrees for the boys, all she had to do was fill in the dates and file the paperwork. Sam told her that when we married he was taking Chase as his last name and he told Becca that the boys should do the same and keep their current last name for a middle name. She said she’d take care of it and she’d inform us if there was to be a hearing or not.

It wasn’t exactly a hearing, but it was a closed door procedure in front of a judge, in a small hearing room in the big county courthouse in Northampton. We had been called by Becca on a Friday in the beginning of April and she was calling to notify us of a hearing on the following Monday in front of a family court judge. She told us it was only a formality, as our custody was not in question, it was a chance for the judge to reassure herself the boys were happy with their current living conditions. We showed up, both Sam and I in our dress uniforms and the boys with ties and a little suit jacket added to their school clothes so they could go to school, and we could get to work, right after.

Becca met us there and the boys were at first reluctant to let go of our hands to visit with the judge, but when the three of them returned they all three were smiling. It was a done deal and they were very proud of their new names. The judge’s clerk provided us with several copies of each boy’s adoption and name change decrees and we kept one set of each for both Sam and me and handed in one set for the school when we dropped them off just before lunch. One set we gave to each boy so they could show them around. Surprisingly, they brought home their sets fully intact, with very few smudges on them.

We of course held a party for all of us that April weekend and since we were blessed with another warm Spring day we had another cookout with the whole neighborhood invited to share in our happiness, and that was when my boss announced I was being promoted to Detective and Sam’s boss announced he was being promoted to Captain. It was such a great party and our boys couldn’t have been happier.

As the wedding approached we had some serious talks about what the boy’s therapist had inadvertently stirred up, did we want more children? We decided we really were stretched kind of thin as it was, but we both agreed, that if the right opportunity arose, we’d take the challenge and work around any problems, even if it meant one or both of us had to take a leave of absence, or an extended family leave, as we were granted to let us bond with the boys after their parents deaths.

We were having a quick dinner that same Friday night, the night before our birthday party for the boys, when the house phone rang. It was the police chief asking me if Sam and I could spare him a few minutes, as he had a question to put to us. He said he would have waited to ask us tomorrow night, but a situation had come up and he thought we might be able to help out with it, he said he’d like to see us as soon as possible, and didn’t want to wait until the next night’s party. I told him we were having dinner but he was welcome to come over any time as we had plenty to eat in the house. About 15 minutes later he was at the front door with a young man he introduced to us as his neighbor’s son, a young man of about 23 years.

Chief explained that he and his wife had watched Cal (Calvin Sparks) grow up and they both thought he was a great kid, but upon his graduation from the University’s School of Restaurant and Hotel Management Cal found himself without a place to live or a loving family to go home to. It seems that while in college his parent, a widow while Cal was growing up, had remarried and not to a very nice man, in fact he was a homophobic ass and when Cal needed a place to stay while he was interviewing for jobs in the area, his mother had told him that he was no longer welcome in their home. When she and her new husband had found out Cal was staying right next door with the Chief and his wife they threw a fit and began harassing Cal whenever they saw him. Chief wondered if we could see our way to rent Cal the guest cottage for the Summer until Cal would be returning to school to start work on his masters program, as just the degree he held now might get him a ground floor position, but with his masters he could possibly find a management position when he completed his masters requirements.

We started to explain about the birthday party for the boys, and the Chief told us he had already told Cal about that, but they felt that Cal needed to be out of where he was now, which was just next door to his increasingly erratic mother and her husband. Sam and I went into the living room and we agreed we could give Cal a bedroom in the house until Sunday, then he could move into the guest house, after our guests tomorrow used it as we had been, as a pool house. We went back to the kitchen where we saw our two boys were chatting away with Cal and the chief. We offered Cal a tour of the guest house and everyone followed along, but the boys leading the way.

Cal Sparks was a nice looking young man and you could tell by the way his clothing fit he took care of himself. We later showed him around the main house, from the basement up, so Cal was introduced to the gym and where the laundry was done, then the parts of the main floor he hadn’t seen before, and then the bedroom level where we let him choose one of the unused guest rooms for his use for the next few nights. He had admired our Bowflex® machine and shyly asked if we’d show him how to use it. We told him we’d be glad to, but that we used it only after the boys were in bed as we didn’t want them trying to mimic what we did on it and hurt themselves. He got the idea and said he could wait until later.

Cal had one suitcase with him, the rest would be moved on Sunday, after the guest house was cleaned after the party. It didn’t take him long to get settled in his temporary room and he joined the family for some TV viewing during the evening and the boys were enchanted by him. The closest person to his age we knew was Brian, and the boys loved Brian and told Cal all about him as they sat on either side of him as they all sat on the couch together. It wasn’t long after 8 when Cal came into the kitchen and told us they went out like a light. We had been putting together some potato salad and a big lettuce one for the next day. As we washed our hands we told him all about the boys birthday party and that all our neighbors on the street would be here and he’d get to meet Brian then (And meet him he did!). After we had washed our hands we toted the boys upstairs to their bed and once we had tucked them in we told Cal we’d show him the Bowflex® machine now. He went to his room and changed into his work out togs and so did we, but we kept our little shorts on tonight.

He told us how loving we all seemed, especially as he had watched us tucking in the boys, letting us know his mother had never been the cuddly type and of course he had never known his father. We showed him all the functions of the machine and what to watch out for. There was a list of safety precautions we went over with him before we set him up to start his work out and in about twenty minutes, as Sam and I were about to switch places on the lifting bench, he had been lifting, I had been spotting, Cal began to ask us questions. We answered as best and as honestly as we could. He wanted to know how, at only a few years older than him, we not only had the biggest and most expensive house in the area, and how did the boys come to live with us. He was quite embarrassed when we told him of our circumstances, but we explained there was no need to be, although he might have read or seen about Josh and Sarah’s deaths there really wasn’t any way for him to connect us to that occurrence or know the outcome. He asked how long we had been together and we told him and he was amazed that so much has happened in our lives since that fateful day of the raccoons in the fire station.

We in turn asked about his relationships and he told us he just hadn’t found Mr. Right yet, but he really wanted someone who shared his life goals and values. We thought that was a mature way of looking for someone to share your life with. We bid him a good night, and warned him that some of the neighbors would probably be around by 10 or 11AM to help with the party preparations. He said that he’d be happy to help where he could.

Our sleep was undisturbed and we woke with the anticipation of a fun day for the boys and hopefully for us as well. As we prepared to go downstairs after getting our morning bathroom routine done and getting the boys ready for the day we realized we could smell food being cooked in our kitchen, and not only that, there was the wonderful aroma of fresh brewed coffee wafting up the stairs. When the four of us arrived in the kitchen Cal was just putting a tray of pancakes in the oven to keep warm, as he prepared the griddle for another batch. He appeared to have everything under control, and little brown sausages were already heated up in a covered skillet on the stove top, warmed syrup ready for the pancakes, and the table set. I told everyone I could get used to this very easily.

Sam spoke up and said that Cal had mislaid the table, as there were only four places set, and as he grabbed another place setting Cal tried to say that he shouldn’t sit with the family and Sam told him that as long as he lived under one of our roofs he was part of our family, whether he cooked the meal or not. The boys were thrilled that Cal had made pancakes that had animal shapes and it certainly started their birthday celebration off on the right foot. During breakfast Cal told us he was going to try and find a job at a restaurant for the summer, as he’d had some cooking classes as an elective every semester in school, and Sam asked if his cooking was anything like his breakfast and Cal admitted that the cooking was his hobby, he just didn’t have anyone to share it with. I asked what type of salary he was looking for from a summer job and he said he and the chief had talked about it and he figured he could earn enough to pay the rent on the guest house. Sam and I looked at each other and when he nodded at me I knew we were in agreement.

I then told Cal that if he wanted a Summer job, that if he cooked three meals a day, Monday through Friday, kept the first floor of the house clean and presentable, kept up with the laundry and kept an eye on the boys when they were at home for the summer then we wouldn’t charge him rent, in fact we would pay him two thousand dollars a month for his services. He swallowed his mouthful of food and readily agreed, saying he would love to have a family to take care of for the summer, saying it would be good practice for him for when he had his own family.

The boys were happy that Cal was going to be living in the guest house for the summer, but we had to tell them that while we, Sam and I, were at work Cal would be in charge, he was not being hired to be their playmate, although we told them they could help Cal have time to play with them when he wanted, or had time to, by keeping their room neat and keeping the downstairs picked up and not to be leaving their toys all over the place. They said they could do that. We all pitched in to clean up after breakfast, telling Cal he would start Monday, and we went out after to make sure the fenced in play yard was free of anything that could harm a youngster, and to make sure the pool was ready for the crowd this afternoon. With that all done, Cal helped me get the grills ready as Sam and the boys set up the tables for our guests.

We soon had our neighbors begin to arrive and the boys took great pride in introducing Cal to their friends and their parents as they trickled in. Sure enough, Brian had shown up with two big bowls of cole slaw, saying Glenn and Eddie would be along soon, they had gotten a little tied up this morning. Our boys were introducing Brian and Cal, and as I told Sam later, it looked like the start of something great, it was like while shaking hands, their palms became fused by the electric charge that ran through them and their eyes were locked in some sort of “mesmerizing trance”. It took them a few moments to come out of their “trance”, and once they did move again, it was as a couple, never leaving each other’s side throughout the afternoon, a fact that didn’t go unnoticed by Brian’s uncle, Glenn, or Glenn’s partner, Eddie.

Everyone was getting acquainted with Cal and we had explained he was staying with us this summer and was going to be helping around the house as Sam and I would be settling into our new roles in our respective departments, me as one of the police department’s detectives and Sam as the Captain of the EMT training and ambulance crews, as well as filling in on any day time firefighting shifts as he was needed. Plus we had our wedding coming up in just a week, and we had planned a little get away for just the two of us for a few days, so having Cal around to care for the boys was an added bonus.

The boys received several nice gifts from the children invited and Sam and I gave them bikes to ride around the cul de sac on which they could do right away, as there were training wheels on both of the little bikes. The boys were very generous in letting their friends try them out, with Billy and Bobby from next door, their best buddies, getting the first ride after them and the others patiently waiting their turn. All in all it was a great party and the magician we had hired for the school party was back for most of the afternoon, entertaining both the kids and the adults who all got a great kick out of him.

As the usual volunteers were cleaning up, Sam and I both noticed our new set of Siamese twins doing more than their share. It was nice to have seen my chief getting an enthusiastic report from Cal about his new Summer plans and the chief also noticed how Cal and Brian were next to inseparable for the whole afternoon, and he acted like the doting father every time they were near him and his wife.

The clean up went really well and everyone seemed to have had a great time, none more than Jay and Ray, with the exception of Cal and Brian. Jay and Ray were having a sleepover at Billy and Bobby’s, something Carla and Jason had planned for weeks ago. That gave Sam and me some needed alone time, just as we had hosted B&B at our place last weekend to give Carla and Jason some child free time. Cal and Brian were supposed to be going to the movies and pizza, so Sam and I started in the Bowflex® room, in only our jocks and we were working up a big sweat about a half hour later when somehow I ended up impaled on Sam’s dick as he laid on his back on the weight bench. I kept trying to get out of this precarious position, repeatedly trying to lift myself off his big hard slippery dick, but each time I reached that big unsheathed cock I somehow managed to slide right back down, impaling myself all over again.

It would have been funny if I wasn’t enjoying having his big rod rubbing me inside my tight hole so much and when I would look down on his handsome face, glowing with sweat, his supercharged nipples just begging for my lips to suck on them, I felt more than just fulfilled, I felt love for him, deep unyielding love, and I soon felt his response to my repeated nursing on his pecs, he poured out his love cream into my rectum and coated it, to the point it mingled with our joined sweat, a shared co-mingling of our juices that we both feasted on as soon as we switched to a 69 position and Sam used his extraordinary tongue to remove his deposit of moments ago, but he saved some to rub on my raging hard on and we used that as lube when I penetrated him moments later as he bent over the bench and I entered him, holding his pecs in each hand and giving them a loving massage as I whispered how much I loved him wetly into his ears and returned whatever pleasure he had bestowed in me by irrigating his bowels for what felt like an hour.

After I had cleaned him up I helped him to bed and then we both fell asleep in our usual cuddle, my horny dick trying to get into it’s favorite place for the second time that night. In the morning I realized Sam had indeed managed to impale himself and was still sleeping with a contented smile on his face. I finished what he had started, and then used my mouth to bring a good morning to his big uncut dick. He was very appreciative. We were surprised by the smells from the kitchen when we went to get breakfast after our shower. We had thankfully put on shorts before going down, because Cal was cooking breakfast for Brian in our kitchen.

As Cal placed two more place settings on the table Brian told us about the pizza dinner they had shared and the movie neither of them could remember much of, but what Brian remembered was that they had sat up downstairs here in the living room, talking and cuddling until they both repaired to Cal’s temporary bedroom where they slept with their clothes on, but together, holding and kissing each other until they fell asleep.

We shared a great breakfast with them, joking and teasing back and forth, and it really seemed as if Sam and I had gained a slightly younger brother in Cal, and as if Cal had been bitten by the love bug we now knew was Brian. After the kitchen had been cleaned up we four, with a little help from Glenn and Eddie, had the guest house all spic and span ready for the load of boxes and bags the chief brought over about 1PM. Cal was officially moved in by 2PM.
